Siobhan

Kif_2292 I had a background in art which I'd always loved but hadn't really pursued - deciding instead to take a more "practical" and safe career path in administration.  In 2001 I took a career break, which meant I had the chance to try something new - that turned out to be marmorino.

I started by taking on the advertising and administration but quickly went on to the tools as well.  Once we'd had a few projects under our belt, we realised that being able to customise colours for our clients was a major bonus.  This was where my interest was really sparked - I've always been fascinated by how colour works and it was so good to be able to bring that to the company.

Recently, I've been focusing on designing art walls and installations for our clients which can either be applied by the team, or done fresco by myself.  I'll post some of my designs here shortly.

The opportunity to work at something creative is really just the best thing ever.  I'm really looking forward to getting into it in an even bigger way.
